Fusion FM-504 4-Channel 500-Watt Marine Amplifier

Add more power to your marine speakers by connecting a FUSION Marine Amplifier to your audio system, or install with a subwoofer to increase the bass level of your music. FUSION marine amplifiers feature anti-corrosion treated PCBs and stainless steel end panels for maximum corrosion protection. With 4 Channels the FM-504 will drive a pair of speakers plus a ten-inch Subwoofer, or up to four pairs of speakers (2 speakers in parallel each channel), for 200 watts max at 2 ohms, to help spread the sound around your boat.

Marine Tough

Built specifically to withstand the marine environment, the FM-504 features conformal coated PCB boards and stainless steel end panels, for protection against corrosion. Power, ground, input/output connections are all gold-plated as well, for the same reason.

Variable Bass Boost

Get some extra low end with a variable bass boost control, adding up to an extra 18dB of gain at 45Hz.

Variable Low- and High-Pass Crossover

The FM-504 features variable low- and high-pass crossovers, both with a 12dB/octave slope. The low-pass is variable from 40Hz-160Hz, and the high-pass from 40 Hz to 600 Hz.

Subsonic Filter

The FM-504 also features a subsonic filter, for carving off inaudible Sub Bass Frequencies below the set point (20Hz – 55Hz in this case) at 18dB/octave, to improve operating efficiency.

FUSION Regulated Amplifier Technology (F.R.A.T.)

This is FUSION’s regulated amplifier design–FUSION amplifiers allow an enormous amount of output power at the lowest voltage (12.6 Volts) and extreme output at 14.4 volts.

FUSION Intercooled Semi-conductor Technology (F.I.S.T.)

“FIST” is an innovative method of clamping down all internal power switching and audio output devices with an aluminium extrusion with extremely low temperature co-efficiency. By using F.I.S.T it creates the perfect cooling solution, rapidly removing core heat from all associated semi-conductors from both sides of the device at once resulting in extremely low distortion and excellent thermal stability.

FUTRANZ Efficient Heat Sink Transfer Technology

In developing extremely powerful amplifiers, it is essential to keep things cool so FUSION developed a heat sink that has a heat dissipation ability like never before. This was not an easy task but none the less it was achieved, another important factor is efficiently transferring the heat from the semi-conductors to the heatsink, conventional designs use a white paste as the interface between these devices and the heatsink, this is not a perfect solution when complete surface coupling is required. So all Marine Ampliers come equipped with a composite heat transferring tape. Core heat in semi-conductors causes distortion and poor component performance characteristics. Testing has shown a massive reduction in core heat has been achieved by using the FUTRANZ heat transferring technology. In simplified terms this means excellent thermal stability and maximum component reliability.
